Touched a Nerve

A contemporary romance rooted in the fact that no one should ever feel alone or like they're too much. When our main character learns that being in pain all the time isn't normal, she starts down the treacherous and seemingly never-ending path toward a diagnosis. Unfortunately, most of those closest to her belittle and even gaslight her condition, making her question whether what she's experiencing is normal and if she's just bad at handling it. But when someone shows up, acknowledges her pain as real, and shows her what it's like to have someone see all parts of who she is, she realizes she's been settling for far less than she deserves. She then begins to show up for herself and claim what she wants from life in ways she never thought possible. Perfect for fans of Hannah Bonam-Young and Ivy Fairbanks.
